Cialis is a prescription that is used in pill form that is also known as Tadalafil. The pill works as a muscle relaxer than expands the amount of blood flow found in walls of the bloodstream. This in effect causes an erection that may or may not last up until four hours (after which, it is dangerous to have these symptoms any longer).
The pill is used to treat erectile dysfunction and symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy, also known as enlarged prostate. It is not advised to take Cialis with any other prescription medications, as there are risks involved including these symptoms: penis damage, vision loss, or medicinal poisoning. This medication should not harm an unborn baby, but any questions regarding pregnancy and if the pill will pass through breastmilk should be discussed with a doctor. Cialis should be used as needed, not on a regular scheduling dosage so there should be no issue with missing a pill. If too many pills are consumed, it is strongly advised to call the Poison Control Center as soon as possible! There are many side effects when Cialis is used with alcohol. Another warning is not to take Cialis with grapefruit or grapefruit juice because the effects oftentimes counteract Cialis and can become dangerous. Do not use or self-prescribe any other medications for impotence.
There are common side effects with Cialis, so if you use the medication be sure to look out for these symptoms, including: headache, sinus pain, diarrhea, sore throat and/or muscle pain. Ignoring these symptoms can lead to dangerous and possibly long-term effects. The complete list of side effects can be found by contacting the FDA, prior to taking the pill. Other drugs can react negatively with Cialis including HIV medicine, High Blood Pressure medicine, seizure medicine and antibiotic/antifungal medicine. It is very important to discuss with your doctor if you have any medical issues before taking Cialis.
Any medical disturbance should be noted. For instance, heart disease, a recent heart attack in the last three months, liver or kidney disease (or the use of a dialysis machine), a blood cell disorder, a stomach ulcer, or if you have been warned not to have sexual intercourse. If used incorrectly, Cialis can decrease blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye. This can result in vision loss temporarily, or in more active use, permanent vision loss. Cialis is meant to be taken whole, do not chew it. Follow the instructions before and after use to be sure of proper use. Any strange effects during sexual activity should be written down and reported to your doctor ASAP. Dizziness, nausea, pain, numbness and/or tingling in the chest are dangerous effects that indicate that the medication is not working appropriately. Cialis is available at most pharmacies in the U.S. and Australia and can be obtained with a prescription. To find out more on Cialis, be sure to read the pharmaceutical directory and all instructions pertaining to the medication upon receiving the prescription. Cialis is available as a brand name only, not as a generic brand.
