Being a mother has always been a dream of mine. My husband and I had been married for two years and we had been trying to get pregnant for a year. I was starting to worry that something was wrong with me. As a women you always seem to assume it is your fault, because it your mind it would never be a problem with your husband. So after a lot of soul searching I decided to make the call and go to a fertility doctor. I was very nervous, and had lots of test ran. But one of the first things the doctor did was put my fears to rest. She said my age was good and it could be a lot of little things that were stopping us from conceiving a child and that now was not the time to panic. One of the first things we discussed was the possibility that I was not ovulating properly. This statement confused me because I had a period every month, even though it may have not been completely regular. But the doctor explained to me that I maybe ovulating, but if I went on a medication to help the stimulation of more eggs, I would have a better chance of conceiving. I had also always thought it would be awesome to have twins. So the first medication that my doctor and I discussed was clomid. I had heard of this medication, because a friend of mine used it to help her conceive her son. The doctor told me if I wanted to I could think about it and discuss the possibilities with my husband. I also wanted to see about my insurance because I knew most of the medications are covered, but I wanted to double check.
I went home and discussed using clomid with my husband and we both decided it would be a good thing to try. Then after talking to my insurance company I went back to the doctor and told her I wanted to buy Generic Clomid. I was very happy because I didn’t have any side effects from using the drug. I talked to my friend who had used it and she told me within three months she was pregnant. I wasn’t sure I would have such great results, but I was optimistic. The first month I took the medication, I felt optimistic, but a little scared. But the second month I took it was the lucky month. I was easily able to see when I was ovulating by taking an ovulation test. Before I was going to start the third month of clomid I took a pregnancy test and I was so excited to see that plus sign with the word yes. This was a year ago and our son, is the joy of our life. I am so glad we decided the medication Clomid was for us.
