I would think a good course of action if one were considering taking Proscar tablets to treat male pattern baldness would be to take a trip to your local hat shop and try on a variety of hats. The side effects of wearing a hat are quite minimal compared to the documented side effects of taking the medication, Proscar. In fact, there are few documented side effects of hat wearing other than hat hair, which, if you are lacking hair due to male pattern baldness, is probably not something that you would need to be all that concerned with.
There are a variety of styles of hats that would serve quite well to cover up that shiny pate of yours. For the casual activity you might want to consider that old go to of the baseball cap. No longer just for baseball players it can be found at any outside activity covering heads and has a nice bill that effectively shades the eyes from the sun. The latest fashion is to wear this style of hat with the bill flat as a board. Of course, everyone knows that this is not a very good method to wear this type of hat. Not only does it look retarded, you may be mistaken for a thug. Wear the hat the way it was intended to be worn, with the bill curled up….should be able to be curled and place in your back pocket of your pants if you want to take it off but continue to carry it with you.
So, quick analysis says. No proscar tablets for your male pattern baldness. Opt instead for a hat and just cover it up.
