How its works
Bactrim works by blocking bacteria from producing Folic Acid and then by drying the fluids in the infection, helping the healing process. Bactrim or its generics are not recommended for people with any of the following: thyroid disorders, HIV/AIDS, asthma, liver or kidney disease, or anemia as it can worsen these conditions. Bactrim is classified as a Category C type drug and is not safe to take while pregnant or breastfeeding.
